Nationally Recognized Education Professional in STEM

Barbara is a nationally recognized education professional with a commitment to science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) with over 20 years of experience as a classroom teacher. She was a Teacher Laureate finalist, New Jersey State Teacher of the Year, and participant in the Marshall Space Flight Center Teacher Program. Barbara has done work with the National State Teachers of the Year, NBC News Education Nation, the Teaching Channel, and the National Academy of Sciences. She has a Bachelor of Science in Bio-medical technologies from Fairleigh Dickinson University, a Master of Arts in Teaching from Marygrove College, and a Supervisory Certification from Seton Hall University.
