Social Studies Teacher, Legacy High School, Adams 12 School District
Mark Sass has taught high school social studies for twenty years. He teaches part time at Adams 12 School District at Legacy High School where he has held various school teacher leadership responsibilities and leads a cohort of teachers for Teach Plus Colorado. Mark was a member of the LEAD Compact Committee that worked on rewriting state policy on teacher certification, a Hope Street Group National Teacher Fellow, and a Teacher Ambassador Fellow for the US Department of Education. Mark is a member of the Practitioner Advisory Board for the Center on Great Teachers and Leaders, a Pahara Aspen Institute Teacher Leader Fellow, and a contributing blogger for Chalkbeat Colorado.
