Senior Instructional Designer, Mathematics
Stephanie Snyder is a Senior Instructional Designer, Mathematics at CenterPoint, responsible for building quality mathematics resources for CenterPoint, including our professional learning webinars and courses as well as formative and diagnostic assessments.
Stephanie starter her career as an elementary and middle school teacher. Prior to joining CenterPoint, Stephanie worked at Parcc Inc. and Achieve, serving an integral role in the emerging years of the PARCC assessments. She served as the Associate Director for Policy, Research, and Design where she supported the development of assessment design, common assessment policies, and implemented research to produce validity evidence for the assessments.
Stephanie earned her Ed.M in Education Policy and Management from Harvard University, and her B.A. in Spanish and Portuguese Language and Cultures from Princeton University. Her favorite teacher in school was her high school Spanish teacher, Dra. Guice, who encouraged her to explore the world through language and literature. A native of Cleveland, Ohio, Stephanie currently lives in Silver Spring, MD with her husband and two daughters.
