Manager of Elementary Literacy Curriculum, Denver Public Schools
Sara Wortinger is an educator who holds a Bachelor of Science in Management and Entrepreneurship from Indiana University Kelley School of Business. Throughout her undergraduate years, Sara supported local schools by providing one-on-one supports to struggling readers. Upon graduation, Sara was selected as a member of the Mississippi Delta Teach For America Corp, where she taught literacy and social studies to elementary students. Thereafter, Sara sought to deepen her literacy knowledge and became a Denver Public School Literacy Coach, specializing in data analysis and strategic interventions. Sara currently serves as the Denver Public Schools Manager of Elementary Literacy Curriculum, supporting teachers and serving 80,000 students annually.
