Claudinette (Didi) Swartz is currently a resident principal at Mitchell Elementary in Chicago Public Schools, where she is both learning and leading instructional coaching, family engagement and logistical management. Prior to this, Didi was the Director of Assessment for CPS, where she was responsible for assessment communication, training and logistics. Didi began her career in education as a primary grades teacher in Atlanta Public Schools. Following graduate school, she held various roles in CPS, including Chief of Staff for the Office of Instruction, where she led the initial project planning for implementation of the Common Core Standards.
